PROFESSIONAL POLICIES
Clarity creates confidence.
The following policies ensure consistency, fairness, and professional integrity within every engagement.
PROFESSIONAL TIME MODEL
Engagements are structured around defined blocks of professional time.
Professional time includes more than live, in-home sessions. It may also include:
-
Behavioral assessment and case review
-
Written development planning
-
Environmental and management strategy
-
Video review and analysis
-
Progress recalibration
-
Structured communication requiring professional judgment
You are reserving professional capacity — not purchasing isolated lessons.
SCHEDULING & RESERVED CAPACITY
Scheduled sessions represent reserved professional time.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in deduction of the reserved time.
Failure to appear for a scheduled session is treated as time utilized.
Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and do not extend expiration periods.
COMMENCEMENT & EARNED FEES
Professional time begins at the point of case review, planning, or delivery of services.
Once professional time has commenced, fees are earned due to:
-
Case allocation
-
Professional preparation
-
Reserved scheduling capacity
-
Development planning
Details are outlined within the engagement agreement.
EXPIRATION OF PROFESSIONAL TIME
Purchased professional time expires three (3) months from the date of agreement unless otherwise documented in writing.
Developmental momentum matters — particularly during puppyhood and adolescence.
Unused time does not carry forward beyond the expiration period.
